A man sings the well-known German folksong „It doesn’t take much to be happy and if you’re happy, you’re a king!“ The rather simplistic moral statement of the song is carried out to absurdity. The lonely singer sings rounds with himself until he expands into a „men’s choir“ made up of him alone. The singer makes a tremendous effort and, through his enthusiasm, reveals his pressing desire to attain merriment. In the process, his face and the song’s message disintegrate into an incredibly intense duplication.
