In his idiosyncratic poetic picture language, Yves Netzhammer creates in this video an allegory of freedom. In bondage, neither the bird, arrested in the cage, nor the man, arrested in his own body, possess the freedom for self-definition. The mirror remains as the only counterpart and death remains as the only way to freedom.
